Within the Labyrinth, Saturday Morning

After a few hours of sleep, it's time to get going again. Everyone needs to be rescued by this evening, or Jareth gets to keep them all forever! And since this is Team Distraction, it's time to get very loud and very obvious. If everyone in the Labyrinth is focused on what you're up to, the other team will have a much easier time slipping by the goblins and rescuing your friends. So, start smashing things! Sing at the top of your lungs! Be a general nuisance all around the Labyrinth!

Of course, being a distraction usually means being bait. And being bait almost always means being in danger.

But you can handle it! Right?

Perhaps amazingly, nothing happened.

Both knockers started to snicker.

They were very helpful fellows, weren't they?

"I don't suppose you want to take this ring back in your mouth?" Leia said, catching on.

"Mmmm-mmm," the de-ringed knocker replied, very pleased to be ringless, indeed!

"There's no way that you're going to get that back into him," the deaf knocker cackled, clearly amused by this silly girl's silly actions. "He's had that thing in there for ages!"

Leia shrugged. She could try to force it back in, but there were two doors, after all. She set the ring down and moved back over to the deaf knocker and took hold if its ring to knock against the door.

"Whoa, whoa, hey! Quiet down!"

Apparently there were some things that even the pug-faced knocker could hear, loud and clear. But, for all of his complaining... Well, at least the door opened.

"But how do you know if you're going the right way?" The ringless one asked, bemused.

Yep. Denizens of the Labyrinth were so very helpful, all of them.

"You don't know either," Leia pointed out. "For all I know both of you lead nowhere, but I'm not just going to stand here doing nothing."

The knocker thought that one over. Well, she did have a point, there. He also idly wondered if he should tell her that the last guards of this particular corridor generally tended to warn people about certain deaaaaath.

But really, where would the fun be in that, anyhow?

"What are you two mumbling about?"

There was never going to be a decent conversation from the two of them, really.

Leia and certain death would be well acquainted in the future. No time like the present to start practicing. "Only one way to find out," she said to herself, stepping cautiously through the open door.
