For once, Francine "Queen of the Oblivious" Peters was looking up at the right time. Only, mind you, because once she realized this place reminded her of Briarwood, she was a little oversensitized to the idea of things dangling above her head.

For her trouble, she got a lock of her hair torn out, a bleeding scalp, and a chance to avoid a ripped-off face. She'd take it; Francine jabbed at the scrabbling claws with the candlestick she'd been carrying, and ran like hell.
