The Grand Hotel by morning is only marginally less eerie than it is by night. Outside, though, under the falling ash, there's a piece of Fandom you're supposed to be looking for, right?

Francine wasn't going to be sick, not this time, but she might be on fire if she followed her instincts to step towards the girl and try to fix it the only way she knew how -- and the fact that her face was wet wouldn't save her.

One step, and the dark eyes were on her, no less angry at Francine than at any of the others invading her sanctuary. "You. Can't. Help. Go."

She stood, for just a second, wishing. Missing Katchoo, who would have done the same thing, set the whole world on fire. Then she went.
